This hotel is absolutely stunning. We stayed in the Villa Acquarone 22-30 May for our honeymoon. We would definitely say we were given the best room in the whole hotel/villa, with an incredible lake view and a huge balcony that was charming and luxurious. The sun was on the balcony all day and there was no need to venture to the pool area, even though we did some of the days. But the privacy and elegance of this room and the hotel as a whole, was outstanding. Comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, including a huge walk-in wardrobe with safe and mini-bar. The bathroom was spotless with a good supply of luxury toiletries each day.

The pool area and the pool itself were so beautiful, with the lake just steps away and the option to lounge on the decking positioned over the lakeshore.

The staff here epitomise professionalism. They are courteous and friendly, and can’t do enough for you. The owner is by far one of the nicest and accommodating hoteliers we have ever had the pleasure to meet, and was delighted that we had chosen his hotel as our honeymoon destination – including pre-honeymoon, as we got married at the town hall on 25th May. The staff even came out to wave to me as I walked to the wedding car in my wedding dress; such a wonderful touch and one I will never forget.

Thank you so much for making our very special holiday even more special, and be assured we will be back, without a doubt. By far, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.
