André Heller Foundation Botanical Garden
An oasis of biodiversity and art
The André Heller Foundation Botanical Garden, located on the shores of Lake Garda, in Gardone Riviera, is an oasis of biodiversity and art. Born from the intuition of the physician-naturalist Arturo Hruska, this garden gathers over 2000 different plant species from every continent, creating a lush and varied ecosystem.
For some years now, the park has found a new owner in the Austrian multimedia artist André Heller, who has managed to infuse new life into the garden by enriching it with contemporary art works. Strolling through the lush flora, you'll encounter installations and sculptures by world-renowned artists like Keith Haring and Mimmo Paladino, which harmoniously interact with the surrounding nature. The Heller Garden is thus a unique experience that blends the beauty of botany with the expressive power of modern art.
Open to the public daily from 9 AM to 7 PM.
It's reachable on foot in 15 minutes from Hotel Monte Baldo and Villa Acquarone or by the little train.
